When I first saw this video I said, “I am doing this at my daughter’s wedding.” She’s many years away from getting married but you can’t help but choke up a bit when the father of the bride plays catch with his daughter, then uses it as a way to welcome his new son-in-law.
Great song choice in switching over to John Fogarty’s “Centerfield”. Not only do father and daughter have a nice catch, the bride’s husband also gets into it, getting down into the catcher’s position and throwing a couple of pop-ups.
