By: June is setting up to be a quieter month than most for us, however we’re going to be busy as usual. Join us at Celebrate South Riding, help us and the Washington Capitals with the Ft. Dupont Service Project, or catch us at some pool parties before revving up for the Fourth of July!
We have two weddings coming up at the end of the month, but we’re looking at this upcoming weekend, June 5 & 6, for the 20th Annual Celebrate South Riding. Come out and join us at the main entrance and have a lot of fun at the Dulles South Multipurpose Center from 5-11 p.m. on Friday, and noon-10 p.m. on Saturday.

June 11, we’ll be in Arlington, Virginia to DJ a fun evening for a group of middle schoolers visiting the Washington D. C. area as part of their class trip. If you know someone planning a trip to DC and want to schedule a DJ night, call us!
June 13, it’s a doubleheader for us as we start the day with the Washington Capitals and Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation Service Project at Ft. Dupont Ice Arena in Washington, D. C. Ft. Dupont has a special place in our hearts as we’ve been working events at this arena in DC for 12 years. Help clean and touch up the arena from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and enjoy the music as we spin from the penalty box, while also projecting sound out into the parking lot and other areas of the arena as necessary.
Join us along with Karl & Mandy Alzner, Capitals Red Rockers, Capitals mascot Slapshot, and fellow fans of the Capitals, Wizards and Mystics.

That evening, we’ll be at the Southern Walk Pool in Broadlands, Virginia to entertain the middle schoolers who are going to enjoy an summer kickoff party. Music, lights, and a lot of fun to be had as we begin our relationship with Broadlands.
It’s another set of pool parties for us on June 16 throughout South Riding as we celebrate the end of the school year. Three DJs will be at three different pools in South Riding. These are only open to students who reside within South Riding.
We’re back into Washington, D. C. on June 17 for the Association for Federal Information Resources Management (AFFIRM) Annual Leadership Awards Celebration at The InterContinental Willard Hotel.
The AFFIRM Leadership Awards are among the most prestigious of the Federal community, honoring individual and team outstanding leadership from the preceding year. First awarded in 1979, award honorees join a prestigious list of agency executives and managers. Awards are for demonstrated leadership leading to successes in specific categories such as IT Management, Cyber Security, Mobile Technology, Innovation, Cloud Computing, Health Information Systems, Big Data and related areas. In addition, there are special categories for a Congressional Leadership Award and an Industry Executive Leadership Award.

Following a wedding in Bluemont, Virginia on Saturday, June 20, we head to East Potomac Park for the GolfDC Women’s Golf Month Reception, providing sound and DJ services.
June is Women’s Golf Month at GolfDC courses. It is a whole month of fun and exciting events at all three of our golf facilities specifically geared to women. There will be guest speakers, networking opportunities, instructional clinics and even an equipment demo day.
And back by popular demand, don’t miss the Women’s Golf Month Reception on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. It’s back to the Southern Walk Pool on June 25 for another pool party and Dive in Movie. Yes, DIVE in Movie! We’ll be showing a movie on the pool deck while the pool will also be open for fun and games before the movie. Our second time as a wedding DJ on June 27 to close out the month for us, it’s going to be fun and exciting this June!
