Meeting new people can be scary, but we thoroughly enjoy it.  Because we get to start a relationship that helps to make someone’s dreams come true and have a great time with their family, friends, coworkers and merging their worlds together.

In the last few days, we’ve met a few new people, and renewed a few relationships.  We’re looking forward to hearing from those who just heard about us, are getting married in the next year, and have asked us about being their wedding DJ.  We’re also excited to hear from some of the brides we met at a recent bridal show.  And we’re starting to work with several on their corporate holiday events.

The reason we like to get to meet our clients ahead of time, is because it’s important for us to get to know you and your ideas.  We’re not just going to show up the day of your event and start playing music.  Think about it, you’d be more comfortable with someone you knew playing the music, emceeing, or just being there, than someone you may have never met.  There’s a little bit of awkwardness that can occur and with our meetings, we can blur that line together.

It’s a busy time around the office, but at the same time, it’s a fun time.  We’ve produced four weddings over the last six weeks, and all have had some amazing pieces to them.  We’ve written about three of them and the fourth will be published later this week.
