The process of planning your wedding can be a daunting task and you see all kinds of brides at bridal shows, all armed with various methods of tracking the information they receive. Some come with binders, others with bags, one lady even brought individual folders to keep information from the various vendors together by category.

When attending a bridal show, we recommend coming prepared with a way to organize the information you receive, and bring two or three pages of address labels filled out with some basic information including your names, address, date of your wedding, site of your wedding, e-mail address and phone number.  Pretty much every vendor is giving away a prize or two to the brides who stop by their table, this is an easy way to fill out all the entry forms without getting writer’s cramp.

At this year’s show, like in year’s past, Metro DC DJs provided the sound system, DJ for the fashion show, and uplighting placed in several areas of the show floor.

We’d like to thank all the brides who visited the Metro DC DJs & Entertainment booth at Southern Maryland’s Bridal Extravaganza at the Capital Clubhouse in Waldorf, Md.  This is the fifth year the extravaganza has been held at the Clubhouse, a facility you wouldn’t see primarily as a wedding facility, but really sets up a nice place for brides to get information.

The brides had an opportunity to check out all of the fashions presented by Seredipity Bridal & Events, who along with Metro DC DJs is one of a handful of vendors who have been part of this show since the first year.

We were greeted by nearly 48 brides to be who entered for their chance to win a $100 Visa Gift Card.  We’ll announce the winner of that gift card in this space tomorrow evening.  The brides asked some great questions and we’re happy to answer them.
